About Us
The Tech Museum and Galileo Learning have teamed up to develop an outstanding summer program for 2010!
About Galileo Learning
Galileo Learning's mission is to provide opportunities for young people to discover and pursue their passions, and to nurture the careers of current and aspiring educators. Through summer enrichment programming for kids from pre-kindergarten through 8th grades, Galileo helps kids explore and gain skills in subject areas they are passionate about. We encourage kids to imagine new things and equip them with the skills to turn those ideas into reality. We call this "Growing Up Galileo."
Our home office is located in Oakland, Calif., where an experienced team works year-round to provide our local Camp Directors with the tools they need to run safe, fun and educationally meaningful programs in the communities we serve. Our Camp Directors and their staff members inject each camp with their own unique flavor and creativity.
Other Galileo Learning Programs
Camp Galileo features art, science and outdoor programming for kids in pre-K-5th grades, and is developed in partnership with The Tech Museum, de Young Museum and Klutz.
Galileo Summer Quest is a fun summer camp for entering 5th-8th graders, where campers dive deep into subjects they are passionate about or want to explore. Camp Galileo and Galileo Summer Quest are offered at multiple locations throughout the Bay Area.
